Prescott Committee Delibrates Recycling

The Prescott Health and Safety Committee met for regular business on August 10th. The meeting included a discussion regarding the City’s contract for waste and recycling handling through Paul’s Industrial Garage. According to the meeting minutes, The committee reviewed the municipal refuse and recycling contract, and they expressed interest in additional recycling choices. The committee made a recommendation to extend the contract with Paul’s Industrial Garage for one year and publish a request for proposal early in 2021 for refuse and recycling for the city. Alderperson Otwell also introduced the option to look into composting. The issue will be deliberated by the Common Council at a later meeting.
