It was a tale of similar games, yet each school took home a win on Thursday night, with the North Saint Paul Boys Soccer Team beating Hastings 6-0 in Game One of our Season Opening Doubleheader Broadcast, and the Raider Girls equaling the feat in the nightcap, winning 6-0 over the Polars. Junior Bella Meier had a hat trick, with three goals, Megan Brown added two more, and Mollie Begin also got her first goal of the season. Kaitlyn Petrich only had to face one shot in the win, and was 1-1 between the pipes, for her first shutout of 2020. KDWA’s Nick Tuckner has more on both games, and what is coming up for the Raiders.
