Autumn in Hastings also means setting a budget for the upcoming year. The Hastings City Council has begun the process of setting the 2021 budget, and with a reported suspension of Local Government Aid from the State Capitol, and decreased revenues due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the City Council is aiming to not increase the levy. Council member Tina Folch explains.
