Ken Froelich Passes Away

The Hastings Police Department reports that Ken Froelich passed away on August 27th. According to the Hastings City Hall Update, Froelich has assisted HPD for the past few years with vehicle maintenance and transportation of vehicles for service. Ken was a true civil servant and had a passion for firearms safety. He volunteered his time not only at HPD, but assisted the DNR with teaching gun safety to the youth, was part of the staff at Bald Eagle Gun Club and most recently was hired at the HERO Center to assist with their gun range. Ken was always willing to sit down and discuss shooting safety and the latest and greatest in weaponry. Funeral services were held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, in St. Paul Park, on September 4th.
