The 2020 Minnesota Sings State Finals will take place via a live virtual event this year and will include two singers representing Hastings. Videos sent in by Eva Storkamp and Lucia Weinhandel will compete with more than 30 contestants in two age divisions. Hastings Mayor Mary Fasbender recorded a special video that will also be played during the awards event.
The event can be viewed on the YouTube channel for Hastings Community TV and will begin at 8PM, Tuesday evening, September 29th. More than $13,000 in prize money will be awarded to the winners who will find out if they have won during the livestreamed event. Videos featuring all the contestants are posted on the Minnesota Sings Channel at YouTube.com.
