The Prescott Kiwanis Club has announced Prescott Senior Madelyn Nelson as the Student of the Week. According to a letter of nomination by Librarian Joan Simon, Madelyn has been a loyal patron to the library and has participated in library activities all four years of her high school career. Madelyn is describes as an avid reader, a talented writer, and an accomplished researcher and historian. Madelyn has been a very active member of the National History Day team and the Influenza Pandemic of 1919. Madelyn is always willing to share her creative talents and is fun to be around. She is always respectful, organized and she is a leader, according to Mrs. Simon.
