Education Minnesota has announced that nominations for Teacher of the Year for 2021 are now being accepted. Minnesotans have the opportunity again this fall to nominate a unique educator for Minnesota Teacher of the Year. Nominations opened last Thursday, and can be submitted online through Nov. 15. The Minnesota Teacher of the Year also becomes Minnesota’s candidate for National Teacher of the Year. The state program has been highly successful nationally, as Minnesota ranks second behind California with four National Teachers of the Year.
