The City of Hastings reports that ARH Properties has submitted a Special Use Permit application to convert the former Harbor Shelter Building located at 321 East 6th Street into general use apartments. A public hearing and review will take place before the Planning Commission beginning at 7 PM on October 12. The Heritage Preservation Commission will review the application at 7 PM, on October 13th. Upon action by the Commissions, the City Council is scheduled to review the application on October 19th. Public comment on the plans for the building can be directed to City Hall.
