The Learning Center at Freedom Park in Prescott has reported that a recent fundraiser for bringing goats to the park has exceeded the $15,000 goal. According to a press release, the first-ever virtual fundraiser was a resounding success. The baseline goal was $15,000, and they raised over $18,000. Staff report that the fundraiser was fantastic, but it only generated 16% of the income needed to meet the annual operating budget, adding that they have so much more they would like to do.
