Minnesota Governor Tim Walz recently paid a visit to view the progress of the power turbine upgrade program currently being completed at Lake Byllesby Dam. During the visit, Governor Walz commented on the fringe benefit of the project.
With state aid, the County is upgrading the turbines and building a powerhouse to increase the dam’s safety and efficiency.
