Prescott Police Have Busy Week

The Prescott Police Department reports higher-than-usual activity in Prescott last week. According to a post on social media, in the early hours of Tuesday, October 13th Prescott Officers assisted Pierce County Sheriff’s Deputies with a pursuit that passed through Prescott. The male suspect in that pursuit was later apprehended in the county after a brief foot pursuit by Pierce Deputies. On Thursday October 15th around 12:30 PM, a Prescott Officer initiated a pursuit of a motorcycle which left the city limits and proceeded out into the county. This pursuit was terminated due to safety reasons and this suspect has not been apprehended. And, also on Thursday, at around 6 PM, Prescott Officers assisted Pierce County Deputies in another pursuit. Officer Jacobsen deployed his spike strips, making impact with the right front tire of the suspect vehicle. The vehicle continued on through Prescott at a high rate of speed and eventually crashed in Minnesota, on Highway 10. Both female suspects in this incident were taken into custody by Deputy Clements and Officer Jensen.
