During Monday’s City Council meeting, the Hastings City Council deliberated a site plan for renovating an existing building on Vermillion Street. Community Development Director John Hinzman provided an overview of the plan.
Council discussion of the plan included a proposal to ensure the plan matches the Vermillion Street Corridor plan, types of vehicles parked on site, traffic from site, neighborhood notification, and real estate company offices. The Council also expressed appreciation for improvements to the site. The site plan was approved by the Council.
