In continuing efforts to stem an uptick of Coronavirus cases in Wisconsin, on October 6th Governor Tony Evers directed Wisconsin Department of Health Services Secretary-designee Andrea Palm to issue Emergency Order 3, limiting public gatherings to no more than 25 percent of a room or building’s total occupancy, with some exceptions. This directive is effective at 8 AM on October 8, and will remain in effect until November 6. According to the Order, Wisconsin is in the midst of a “deadly, uncontrolled, and exponentially growing” spike in COVID 19 cases, and the state is the nation’s COVID-19 hotspot. Hospitalizations in the state have climbed to 692, with some ICU units at full capacity. For more information visit the link provided here.
