The LeDuc Historic Estate in Hastings was the home of Union General William LeDuc after the Civil War, and a name closely associated with General LeDuc is Georgia native George Washington Daniels, who served under General LeDuc in the Civil War. The Dakota County Historical Society has now announced that the Society has received a grant to expand a display dedicated to Daniels at the LeDuc Estate.
