The Hastings Fire and EMS Department responded to 5 calls for service last week, that consisted of two calls for malfunctioning smoke alarms, and to provide assistance for two motor vehicle accidents that resulted in no injuries. The fifth call was listed as a “hazardous condition” call near the intersection of General Sieben Drive and Fallbrooke Drive. The report indicates that crews were active for the call for only 20 minutes.
