The elections for City Council in Prescott, scheduled for early April, have gained a candidate. According to a post on social media, Prescott resident Pat Knox has thrown his hat in the ring for the Ward 5 & 6 seat on the Council. Knox states that he has been a resident of Prescott since 2018, and has a background in hotel and restaurant management, and is a graduate of Shell Lake High School, class of 1987. Knox is running as a write-in candidate, as he did not make the decision to seek office until after the filing deadline had passed. His platform is one of a desire to serve the public and give back to the Community. Elections in Prescott are set for April 6th.
