A KDWA listener has forwarded a tip regarding a reported rash of vehicle thefts occurring in southern Dakota County, south of Hastings. According to information provided to KDWA, at least 20 vehicles have been stolen or vandalized in the past few weeks in the area. Sources with the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office have indicated there are a number of open investigations for reported activity, but specific information could not be provided.
