The MN State Patrol has updated the information regarding a fatal vehicle accident on Monday morning near the intersection of Highway 316 and Otero Avenue, south of Hastings. According to the State Patrol crash reporting website, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, driven by 33-year-old Red Wing resident Danielle Michelle Marie Moore was southbound on 316 when her vehicle drifted across the center line and side-swiped a northbound tractor trailer driven by 64-year-old Inver Grove Heights resident Thomas Albert Blomberg. The Hennepin County Medical examiner responded to the accident, and Moore was declared dead at the scene. The report indicates that Moore was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident. Blomberg was not injured in the accident.
