Rosemount author Kevin Kunkel’s picture book “The World We Choose” has been named “Picture Book of the Year” by Texas-based Reader View. According to published reports, Kunkel is proud of the accomplishment, and the book is about seeing the good around us and believing in hope. Kunkel also teamed up with musician and Lakeville native John Hilsen to record a promotional video in support of the book. Kunkel says the award will help him share his message with more children and parents.
