In Prescott, a family is dealing with a triple threat of very rare Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Conner, Kian, and Finnegan McVey have all been stricken with the disease, which, according to research, is a progressive form of muscular dystrophy, which causes loss of muscle function and carries a 100% mortality rate. Prescott resident Tara McNiff reports that a fundraiser for the McVeys has been planned.
The goal is $100,000 and there is an event coming up.
A link to the Facebook event page is provided here.
