Stuart Simek and Simek Property Group held an official groundbreaking ceremony on Friday morning for the Villas at Pleasant housing development, located at the corner of Pleasant and Northridge Drives, in Hastings. Representing the City of Hastings, Council Member Lori Braucks was in attendance.
Simek, of the Simek Meat Company family gave some insight to the development.
The development will feature one level living and is ideal for those 55 and older.
