The Dakota County Sheriff’s Office has announced the newest member, K9 Zeus, to the Dakota County Sheriff’s Office. According to a post on social media, Zeus is a Dutch Shepherd from Belgium and was born on May 27th, of 2020. Zeus is already familiar with hand signals and verbal commands. Zeus and his K9 handler, Deputy Jacob Kurschner, will begin training in August for approximately 12 weeks.
