The City of Hastings has been advised that the possibility of a severe drought declaration is very likely for the entire region. City Public Works Director Nick Egger commented to the Council about the declaration.
Egger also informed the Council on what restrictions would be enacted under the declaration.
The City Council enacted watering restrictions by unanimous vote and restrictions begin at 11 AM on Wednesday, July 21.
