The Vermillion State Bank branch in Vermillion unveiled a life size bronze statue of a farmer on Thursday. The statue was commissioned to commemorate Vermillion State Bank’s Century Anniversary. In addressing the congregation at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in New Trier on Sunday, Father Michael Tix commented on the statue.
Vermillion State Bank has grown from a single location starting in 1918 to six locations across Dakota County.
