The Delta Variant of COVID-19 is putting a strain on local healthcare resources, and Helen Strike, President of Regina Hospital in Hastings and River Falls Hospital said that the number of people requiring hospitalization is reaching numbers not seen since late last year.
Strike also commented that some people are returning to the hospital with the Delta variant.
Strike urges the community to be vaccinated and to get the booster, if eligible.
