One final item for the Hastings budget is setting annual utility fees, which are governed by ordinance, which requires a different process for setting. At Monday evening’s City Council meeting City Administrator Dan Wietecha laid out the proposed annual fee increases.
Other fees were also under consideration for increase.
The fee increases were unanimously approved by the Council.
