ISD 200 is in the process of finalizing the 2022-2023 budget, and the district says it faces a gap in funds available and budgetary needs. The budget proposal at the November 23rd School Board Meeting included an expected $1.3 million deficit, according to Superintendent Dr. Robert McDowell.
McDowell discussed a preliminary plan to address the shortfall.
He also said that there is at least one option to generate funding.
The tentative date to finalize the budget is December 15th.
