The City of Hastings reports that ice rinks and warming houses in Hastings opened for use on Monday. As a reminder, rink rules state that hockey is not allowed on recreational rinks, smoking is not allowed, no horseplay or fighting, and no snowball throwing on the rink. Skaters are instructed to stay off rink when crews are cleaning, profane language is not allowed, and no sleds or snowmobiles are allowed on the ice.
