Hastings City Staff continues to work with NJS Development, LLC, on the development of the UBC north site, with plans to construct an apartment complex on a lot located in the 400 block of 3rd Street. NJS has continued coordination with adjacent property owners resulting in a short delay in land use submittals. HEDRA unanimously recommended approval of the proposed 1st amendment to the development contract between NJS Development, LLC, HEDRA, and City of Hastings. A resolution to approve the amendment to the development contract to adjust deadlines of the project was placed on the Consent Agenda for the Feb 7th meeting of the Hastings City Council.
