Demolition of the former Enterprise Rental building on Vermillion Street in Hastings has begun, in order to prepare the site for the construction of a new building to house a Jersey Mike’s Sub Shop. Late last year, the City of Hastings and the Hastings City Council approved the plans to bring the franchise to town, and removing the Enterprise Rental building is the first step in the process.
