Prescott Plan Meeting Preview

The Prescott Planning Commission meets Monday, February 7 at 6:00pm. One of the agenda items is a Developer Deposit proposal, which would help to preserve city funds when working with new developers. According to the meeting notice, ?A Developer Deposit is a tool used by some Wisconsin municipalities to collect an escrow amount up front for a proposed development and then use that money to pay for costs occurred by the municipality because of the development. This includes attorney fees, engineering review, administrative costs, and publication costs. At completion of the project any remaining funds within the Developer Deposit are returned to the developer upon approval by the City Council?. This meeting is open to the public.
