On Thursday evening, John Duchscherer with River Country Cooperative presented the Miesville Fire Department with a $2500 check for programs and equipment for the Department. River Country has donated $25,000 to area volunteer fire departments including Miesville, Cannon Falls, Randolph-Hampton, and Ellsworth, Wisconsin. River Country has also donated $12,500 to local FFA Chapters.
