Rise Up Recovery has cleared another hurdle in their efforts to open a state-licensed recovery facility in the 300 block of 5th Street East, in Hastings. On Monday evening, the City Council deliberated a Special Use Permit request to operate the facility. Community Development Director John Hinzman updated the Council on the process to date.
The Council thoroughly discussed aspects of the permit, and approved the permit by unanimous vote of 6 to 0.
