Make Music Day Will Go On

The final decision was made last week to hold the daylong annual Make Music fest on Tuesday in the parks as planned, in spite of the heat. Event organizers say that there will be free donut holes given away during the first act, held at 7 am at City Hall. All music is provided by volunteers and each of a dozen sets will be 45 minutes long each. All venues have places in the shade to enjoy the musical acts. Food trucks have also been invited to offer their menu from 4-9 PM at Levee Park. Music will start at City Hall, then move to Roadside Park, starting at 10, then to Oliver?s Grove in Downtown from 1-4, then to the Pavilion from 4-9.
