After great proactive thinking by the Hastings High School Athletic Department, moving Thursday’s football opener earlier to 2pm, in hopes of beating the severe storms that lashed Dakota County and beyond, the Hastings Raiders Football Team went through a storm of their own, losing 50-7 to a very stout Owatonna team coming off another trip to the State Tournament.
