Storms wreaked havoc on our area Thursday night, causing downed trees, damage, and leaving a mess in its wake. Large trees were reported down in the area of 190th Street and Highway 316, and in neighboring communities, Cottage Grove reported “significant” damage from storms, and there were reports of possible tornadic activity between River Falls and Ellsworth, which the National Weather Service will investigate.
