Hastings is bringing home a gold medal. Michael Froehling, representing the Hastings Sharks and the United States at the Special Olympics World Winter Games, won the 200 Meter snowshoe race Thursday to secure the gold. Froehling finished 2nd earlier in the week in the semifinals to advance.
