April 1 Hastings Police Blotter

The Hastings Police Department filed reports for incidents from March 17 thru March 24.

On March 17 at 5:46 p.m. officers responded to the 1400 block of 4th Street West for a reported theft. This case remains under investigation.

On March 17 at 8:20 p.m. officers initiated a traffic stop in the 1600 block of Tyler Street. 59-year-old James Eugene McNamara was arrested for DWI and obstructing legal process.

On March 17 at 8:30 p.m. officers responded to the 50 block of Radford Road for an incident. A 32-year-old Hastings man was arrested for misdemeanor domestic assault and misdemeanor obstruction.

On March 18 at 12:47 a.m. officers initiated a traffic stop in the Salvation Army parking lot. 28-year-old William Chase Green was arrested for driving after revocation.

On March 18 officers arrested a 62-year-old Eagan man on numerous charges including a Dakota County Felony Warrant for threats of violence.

On March 20 at 8:33 p.m. officers conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of 31st Street West. Todd Ames of Hastings was arrested for driving while cancelled.

On March 21 at 12:39 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of 33rd Street West. Jakoby Kindred of Hastings was arrested for felony 1st Degree DWI

On March 21 at 7:07 p.m. officers responded to the 200 block of Cari Park Lane for an incident. A 35-year-old Hastings woman was arrested for domestic assault.

On March 22 at 3:43 a.m. officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Ravenna Trail. Danica Swanson of Hastings was arrested for driving after cancelled.

On March 22 at 10:45 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 2600 block of Commerce Drive in regards to a burglary report. This case remains under investigation.

On March 23 at 12:08 p.m. officers arrested a 36-year-old man for a felony violation of a no contact order.

All subjects who appear in the Hastings Police Blotter are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
