As Memorial Day and the summer travel season approach, the American Red Cross is urging people of all blood types
to donate blood or platelets.
Officials say blood donations are critical for patients facing emergencies, and your donation could save lives.
Donors who give by May 31, 2026, will receive a Red Cross beach towel, while supplies last.
Beginning June 1 through June 28, 2026, donors will receive a $15 e-gift card and be entered for a chance to win one of two $7,500 gift cards.
