Busy Week Ahead for Hastings Commissions, Arts Board, and HEDRA

This week marks a busy week for the various committees and commissions that advise the Hastings City Council and City of Hastings.

Monday evening included the Planning Commission meeting, which discussed a special use permit for Tri Rivers Chevrolet for auto sales in a C-2-zoned district.

Wednesday will feature the Arts and Culture Commission meeting.

The agenda includes a discussion of the Arts and Culture Grant Program, an audit of the review process, work plans, and the Spiral Bridge Painting Plaque, honoring the painting that was on display at Loesch’s Bar and the American Legion Nelson Lucking Post 47 before being donated to the city.

The Arts and Culture Commission meeting is on Wednesday at 6pm in the City Hall Volunteer Room.

Thursday marks the Hastings Economic Development and Redevelopment Authority, known as HEDRA.

The Authority will consider the termination of an agreement regarding Gaughan Companies Industrial Park Marketing, the Block 16 Red Rock Corridor Parking Lot, and the Block 28 Hastings Gateway before discussing development updates. The HEDRA meeting begins at 6pm in the City Council Chambers this Thursday.
