Hastings residents may notice emergency personnel training in town this week.
The Dakota County Special Operations Team will be conducting rope rescue training on Thursday and Friday, June 11th and 12th.
Training is expected to take place at Ardent Mills on Thursday, June 11th, and at Vermillion Falls Park near the walking bridge on Friday, June 12th.
This is a planned training exercise, and community members should not be alarmed by the presence of rescue personnel and equipment in these areas.
