This week, June 1 – 7, is Gun Storage Check Week.
Dakota County Attorney Kathy Keena would like to remind folks of the important role safe firearm storage plays in protecting families and communities.
Properly storing firearms can help prevent accidents, thefts, and suicides.
If you own firearms, take a few moments to review your storage practices. Store firearms unloaded in a locked safe, cabinet, or storage case, and keep keys or access codes out of reach of children and anyone who should not have access.
