On Wednesday, February 11th, the Hastings Arts and Culture Commission meeting took place at 6 p.m.
According to the City of Hastings, there was a call to order, and Commissioner Steven Read was sworn in under the Oath of Office.
The agenda and January 14th meeting minutes were approved.
City staff member and development coordinator, Alex Menke provided an update on the Arts and Culture Commission budget.
Under the business portion of the meeting, Barb Hollenbeck and Steven Read were, respectively, nominated as Chair and Vice Chair.
For the Art and Culture Grant Program, Alex Menke presented a draft of the grant program. The draft of the grant program received a 4-0 vote by the commission for recommendation of approval by the Hastings City Council.
