Hastings Raiders Athletics released a new format for video broadcasts of high school sporting events beginning this fall for the 2026-27 school year, with a partnership with Hastings Community TV called Raider Media Productions. According to the HHS Athletics FAQ Page, broadcasts will be available through an online Hudl TV pay-per-view platform, $7 per any individual game, $110 for an all-year full access pass to all sports and games throughout the year, and an “all-event” option. According to the FAQ, student participation will vary based on course schedules, availability, and educational objectives, and may serve as:
- Play-by-play announcers and color commentators
- Camera operators graphics operators, replay technicians.
- Directors and producers
- Video editors, social media creators, and sideline reporters
KDWA Radio will not be allowed to livestream video under the new policy, however live play-by-play coverage of all Hastings Raiders football games will continue to take place this fall on AM 1460 and FM 97.7 KDWA free of charge.
