Hastings High girls athletes will get a chance to join the inaugural season for Hastings Flag Football that begins this spring. Coach Victoria Zeyen said the team came about through a partnership with the Minnesota Vikings, Hastings High School, and Hastings Community Education, and mirrors other teams that have been formed over the last several years in area schools such as Rosemount where many Hastings athletes who have been interested in playing have had to commute to.
Zeyen and Assistant Coach AJ Croucher said registration is open through the month of March, and there will be another informational meeting on Monday, March 30th to learn more about the sport and if they want to join, before practice begins on April 1st.
