The dining room at Hastings Perkins is back open after a temporary closure caused by a broken water heater.
The water heater failed Tuesday, creating challenges for the restaurant’s daily operations.
Without hot water, staff couldn’t properly wash dishes or keep up with customer demand, forcing management to close the dining room.
Carryout service remained available while repairs were underway.
A new water heater was installed Wednesday, allowing the dining room to reopen by mid-afternoon, much to the delight of customers.
