An update about the raw watermain project for the central water treatment plant.
According to the city, this past week crews completed the drilling and pipe installation of the second section of watermain on the north side of North Frontage Road, stretching from Lions Park to State Street. Crews also finished connecting the watermain across North Frontage Road, west of Westview Drive.
On Monday, April 13, North Frontage Road was closed to thru traffic between Westview Drive and State Street for the installation of a new hydrant.
Remember, the city asks the public to refrain from parking on streets under construction from 7am to 7pm. Access during construction will be maintained, but there could be a delay.
