Early Thursday morning at the 2nd Street Depot, the Hastings Rotary Club hosted a membership and
informational meeting. During the meeting, Mayor Mary Fasbender spoke about the impact the Hastings Rotary Club has had both in the local community and abroad.
The Hastings Rotary Club will celebrate its 45th anniversary in October. Mayor Fasbender said the club’s volunteer efforts have not been in vain, adding that “every act of kindness has helped shape Hastings into a caring and vibrant community we are proud to call home.”
KDWA spoke with Scott Northard of the Hastings Rotary Club. Northard shares an overview of the club’s community impact and invites new members to get involved.
