Two early runs by the Dundas Dukes were not nearly enough to overcome the powerful Miesville Mudhens offense Friday night in a 15-2 victory as heard live on KDWA and the KDWA Youtube stream. Dundas scored a run in the first but that was matched by the Mudhens in the bottom half of the inning. Dundas scored again in the second but the Mudhens answered with two in the bottom of the inning to lead 3-2. The Mudhens poured it on in the third scoring five runs, which included a home run by Evan Nelson. Miesville scored two more in the fourth highlighted by a home run by Ronny Sweeny. Then five in the fifth with Brock Rinehart joining the home run parade. Dundas was unable to score any more runs and Miesville ended the game in seven innings. Blake Ritzer got the win on the mound.
