Hastings and area residents can celebrate National Parks and Recreation Month today at Levee Park, with the Party in the Park event. Today’s event includes live music by the Rockin’ Hollywoods, playing classic hits from the ‘50s and ‘80s throughout the evening, family activities including a climbing wall, inflatable obstacle course, bounce house, balloon artist, face painting, caricatures, and more. There will also be an opportunity to meet local organizations and discover hands-on activities focused on nature, recreation, history, art, and community resources, and grab a bite from a variety of local food trucks, including Taste of Chile, Hada Foodie, Northeast Pretzel, Hoppers Mini Donuts, and Frios.
The Party in the Park event is tonight from 5:30 to 8pm at Levee Park in Hastings.
